Shaved: Round Two

I liked Carolina's new 'do' so much that I took Virginia back and had her shaved as well. She doesn't look much different, but the hair is gone.:)

I had Carolina shaved while I was at the beach. She is so cute.

Santa Rosa Island, FL

Last week I took Grace and Taylor to the beach. This was Grace's first trip to the beach. Needless to say she had a great time. We went to Santa Rosa Island, FL. It took about 2 days for her to warm up to the ocean, but after she did, she loved it. The beach was beautiful; blue water, white sand, sunshine and good seafood. We hung out at the beach and pool for most of our vacation. We took a dolphin cruise and got to see a few dolphins. We also saw the Blue Angels as the made a pass right in front of our hotel... so awesome. We went out to the Gulf Shores National Seashore, this was nice because there are not homes or hotels, just beach. I took the girls parasailing... their idea. I was nervous, I had my baby girl 1200 ft in the air with nothing but a rope holding us to the back of a speeding boat. I was OK once we got going. Grace loved it, she is fearless. Taylor liked it too. The best part was as they brought us down, they dipped us into the ocean, then pulled us up again. We also saw a couple of dolphins. Our last day was a washout, but we still managed to get a few hours in the ocean. Grace loved playing in the waves, she also liked going out 'deep' and riding the waves back to the shore. The only thing that was missing was Ed. He would have loved seeing Grace at the beach. Grace has already decided that next summer we have to go back and take daddy. Enjoy some of our summer time pictures.
