So, I am going to try and update our blog, again. And maybe even try to update it regularly this time. Since we are moving to paradise in a few weeks, this will be the easiest way to let everyone know how our great adventure is going. Just keep your eyes open, 'cause you never know when a new post will pop up!!!

Walking!!!

Check him out!!! Our little buddy has started walking on September 2nd. He was pushing one of his walking toys then he just let go and started walking. I couldn't believe it. I thought he would stand alone and stand from sitting first, but nope, he just let go and walked. The first video is outside after I got the camera and the second is the next morning. He is so cute!

First day walking!
Day 2 of walking!

Look mommy and daddy... NO training wheels!!!

Today, I FINALLY got Grace to let me take the training wheels off her bike. She was nervous at first, but after about 20 minutes of riding up and down the road and me running behind her yelling "pedal! pedal! pedal!" She finally got it!!! She was so funny. I am so very proud of her. Even after she fell a few times, she got back up and kept on trying! Once she figured out that she wouldn't fall down if she kept pedaling, she was OK. I told Grace that I was going to send a video to Ed and If you listen carefully you can hear her say "I love you daddy". Check her out!!!

Random Pics of our beautiful Babies

Just some random pictures of Grace and Cooper since Ed has been deployed. They are from the zoo, Atl baseball game, park, last day of school and a picnic.
'Daddy' even went to the Ballgame:)

T-Ball

Grace played T-ball this spring. It was her first year to play. And I think she was awesome. She was so cute in her pink helmet. She played 2nd base (mostly), sometimes shortstop. I love watching her learn new things and her expressions when she "gets it".
Is she cute or what!?! I just love her!
A little dance while she was waiting to run:)

She was pretty good at hitting!

Updates

I am trying to update our blog. Mainly for Ed, but also for anyone else that enjoys seeing the kids and what we've been up to. I am well aware that I am behind a few months, but hey, I think I have a good excuse. Enjoy!

Summer Trip: North Carolina June 26-July 6

We went home to NC for a few days. We spent time with family and friends. It was a great break from Fort Campbell. We went out on the lake with everyone. Went to Carowinds. Grace was so proud, because she was 'just' tall enought to ride ThunderRoad. It's a very big roller coaster that she was really wanting to ride. She ended up riding it 4 or 5 times! Cooper had his first birthday party at Ben and Kristin's. And we went back to the mountains with Ben, Kristin and the kids. We had a birthday dinner for Cooper with Caitlin, Linda and David. I love going home, but I also L*O*V*E my bed!!!:)

Cooper's 1st Year

I can't believe it has been a year since I watched my baby boy take his first breath. Now I am waiting and watching for him to take his first steps. He loves to swing and play in the water. He babbles all the time and likes to sing Itsy Bitsy spider. He has changed so much in the past year. Now when I see newborn babies, I am amazed that Cooper was ever that small. Everyone we meet tells me "he is such a happy baby". I hope that means I'm doing something right. He is my happy, smiling boy (most the time). He wakes up smiling and laughing. And at night when I rock him and read him a book he laughs and smiles.
Just a few minutes old.

Gatlinburg and Pensacola

Just a few pictures from our two week vacation with Ed before he left. We went to Gatlinburg, TN and Pensacola Beach, FL. We meet Ben, Kristin, Buxton, and Elin and Daddy, Doris and Hunter "the Hunted One" in Gatlinburg. Seeing those sweet babies was so much fun. And watching them all play was priceless. The second half of our trip was to the beach!!! I love the beach, more specifically I love the gulf coast beaches. Ed didn't want to go at first, but he missed our last beach trip, Grace's first trip (due to Afghanistan). He didn't want to miss Cooper's first time at the beach. The weather was perfect. The ocean was beautiful and the time with Ed was worth more than words can express. Watching him with our children made my heart spill over with love for him. He is the best daddy and husband God could have ever given us.

How cute are these two??!!
Only 10 more years!!! OMG!
I can do it, I can reach the pedal,

Just chillin' waiting on these silly dolphins:)
