Our 4th was spent in New York City. We had a great time with Ed's mom and sister. We started out on Long Island for a wedding. Ed's cousin, Melissa was married to Jared. It was beautiful and I finally met most of Ed's family (it only took 10 years). On Saturday, along with Bill, Janelle, and Hayes, we went to the Statue of Liberty. Seeing this was the one thing I wanted to do and I really enjoyed seeing Lady Liberty. Saturday night we saw some amazing fireworks. Sunday, after Nancy and Amy left for VA, we went to the Central Park Zoo, Time Square, and the Empire State Building. We had a great time and Grace was a trooper. I love going to NYC, but I was so happy to return to Alabama.
